The second seasonal episode of the weekly transmission of the partner Radio Dolomiti “Trentino Volley in FM – dj per un giorno”, which is dedicated to Trentino Volley, focused on Filippo Lanza. In the thirty-minute talk with the presenters Gabriele Biancardi and Laura Paolazzi, the captain of Diatec Trentino revealed the song that better represents him in this moment (“Vivir mi vida” by Marc Anthony) and told funny stories about his last period.
“I link this song to the Olympic adventure, because it is the hit that I mostly listened to at Rio 2016: the text advises to enjoy the moment and your life; that’s what I did in Brazil. It has been a great emotion to be there, let alone the silver medal – explained Pippo -. I would like to take part in two more Olympic Games, or at least I hope so. I was lucky to enjoy the Olympic village in its entirety, because the volleyball tournament last from the first day of competitions to the last one; this gave me the opportunity to meet many people. One morning, for example, I had breakfast with Nadal, the famous Spanish tennis player, and initially I didn’t realize that he was there, just next to me. I asked him if he could pass me the sugar: only when he replied in Spanish did I realize who he was”.
“On Thursday evening we found a great atmosphere in Bolzano – added the hitter from Verona -. The test match against Friedrichshafen gave us a beautiful victory and the opportunity to celebrate Giannelli with his people in the best possible way. We all have been happy with the public’s reaction. We have already focused on the match of Sunday in Sora; we need to prepare it mentally and carefully because our opponents want to win their debut at home. Lorenzetti? I already respected him before having him as trainer, and now I hold him in higher regard: he is an interesting and prepared personality, I like him”.
